Please Note that ALL monthly memberships are to be registered in person at the Habersham County Parks and Recreation Department and will be required to be set up on Auto Draft.

TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS at 11:00AM: Tai Chi
Yang style 24 form Tai Chi training is open to all ages and experience levels. This program is aimed to promote balance, body awareness, strength, and relaxation through its slow, stylized dance resembling movements.
Slow and Steady Walking Club
1st Quarter Meeting Days: Saturday January 10th, Saturday February 14th and Saturday March 14th
Register to earn incentives while you get your steps in! This program includes a monthly group walk and quarterly rewards for participants. Sign up below or in person at the Recreation Facility during regular business hours. Be sure to check in and log your steps for a chance to earn prizes!

MONDAY 12:30am : Mindful Movement
Focus on functional movement exercises designed to strengthen everyday activities. This group class combines strength and resistance training, flexibility, and functional movement—all while fostering a sense of community.
WEDNESDAY 8:30am : Rise and H.I.I.T
Strength and cardio interval training in a fast-paced group setting. This workout blends strength exercises with heart-pumping bursts of repetitions, followed by short rest periods (45 seconds of work/15 seconds of rest). Multiple levels of modifications are offered to challenge highly active participants while still being welcoming and accessible for those new to exercise.

Join this 45-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) group class set to a “greatest hits” playlist! Work on building strength, boosting your cardio, breaking a sweat, raising your heart rate, and leaving excuses behind!
WEDNESDAY 12:30pm: Lunch Crunch
CTRL+ALT+DELETE YOUR EXCUSES! Too busy for the gym? Join us on your lunch break for this 30-minute circuit-style training session—because even when time is short, results can still be BIG!
WEDNESDAY 4:15pm: Beast Mode Basics
Looking to gain an off-season edge or take your game to beast mode? This coed group training class for youth (ages 8–13) focuses on building strength, boosting speed and explosiveness, teaching proper lifting fundamentals, and developing muscle memory for multiple sports—all while encouraging coachability, teamwork, and a competitive spirit!

We utilize the Aquatics Communication list to send out URGENT announcements concerning pool closures, private pools parties, swim meets, safety days, or any other information that effects the swimming community of Habersham County. To receive real-time communications concerning the pools at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center, please register for this FREE email/text list.

Aqua Aerobics
MONDAYS: AquaZen
AquaZen is excellent for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Put your mind, body, and spirit into this workout that will utilize movements of Pilates, Yoga, and Meditation. Mindful movements will flow together with deep breathing, balance, stability and overall core strength designed to improve range motion, joint mobility and pain management. Will use both the shallow and deep end of the recreation pool.
WEDNESDAYS: Cardio Splash
Cardio Splash is a “Fun”tional Fitness classes you will do exercise to work EVERY part of your body in a variety of ways. Exercise will focus on improving heart health and endurance through a variety of movements. Will use both the shallow and deep end of the recreation pool. Shallow water allows for water walking/jogging, strengthening of the core muscles, balance, and posture improvement. Deep water allows for a fuller range of motion with little or no joint compression.
FRIDAYS: Deep Power Waves
Deep Power Waves is the highest intensity level class of the week performed in the deep end of the recreational pool. Utilizes a variety of class format to boost your cardiovascular fitness, increases strength, endurance, and improve flexibility. Boot Camp, Tabata interval training, and Circuit Style formats with the properties of water to allow participants to blast away the calories and increase resting metabolic rate. Prepare for some intense movement to get your body in shape and achieve maximum results through this fun and challenging total body workout that provides minimum impact on joints!

Looking for personalized attention in the pool? Our 1-on-1 swim lessons are tailored to meet each swimmer’s individual needs and goals. Whether you’re just starting out, building confidence in the water, or refining stroke technique, our experienced instructors provide customized guidance at your pace. Private lessons are a great option for swimmers of all ages who want focused instruction and faster progress.
Group Swim Lessons
Our group swim lessons are a fun and affordable way for swimmers to learn and grow together. Taught by certified instructors, classes are designed to build water safety, confidence, and swimming skills in a supportive group setting. With small class sizes, swimmers get plenty of attention while enjoying the encouragement and energy of their peers. Group lessons are available for a variety of ages and skill levels.
